It is not that books jhave not been written on statistics that relates to sports by anybody in India.The first such book was compiled and written way back in 1974 by Mr Vijayan Bala who happens to the younger brother of Mr Rajan Bala who is no more That book was written  on the full scale record of Indian cricket that dealt with the statistics of Indian Test cricketer and it was then published by the BELL BOOKS , New Delhi.Itwas priced at Rs 7=00/copy then and I purchased it from a roadside shop at Karamchand Chowk at Jabalpur in 1974 when I was  a student of Christ Church Boys’ Higher Secondary School at Jabalpur

Since then many many and many a books have hit the market which not only dealt with the history of games and sports but also the statistics relating to the same Sports the way it has become a marketable entity and the moolahs associated with that  the first to add onto their page for increasing the sale of their books was the BRITANNIA ENCYCLOPEDIA That was the start However the LIMCA from India made it a WORLD FAME affair when they came out with a book names LIMCA BOOKS OF RECORD This book has a KIND of RECORDS in terms of statistics that ranges from A to Z are simply simply and simply UNBELIEVABLE

This 554 page of book that I purchased from the roadside book seller at Bangalore for Rs 200+00 is worth worth and worth millions of dollors if one really has to say it and I would say that . You simply fall onto get the most ACCURATE record of anything and YOU GET IT simple IRRESISTIBLE and THUMS
