TENNIS NOT MOVING AHEAD & STAGNATED
Well, that was the year and it was 1973. Nicki Pillic of Yugoslavia then was into the eye of the storm The Wimbledon Authorities for some reason banned Nikki Pilic to play at the Wimbledon The reason stated was Nikki Pilic had something to do with the COLOUR and the CREED statement during that period of time, which he said during that time was NOT and were NEVER  his words but the Wimbledon authorities kept on saying that those were his words. The result was  that he was excluded from the players list to participate in the Wimbledon, and almost all the TOP Tennis players all professional under the Association of Professional Players  holding the WORLD of TENNIS to a GALAXIABLE HIEGHT did not participate in the annals of the Wimbledon which was held in the year 1973.
These players who were the cream would not participate----- well them the tournament authorities, the MILLION DOLLARS question was -  from where would the money into the gate come from and how will the prize money be distributed were the answer in the lips of everybody.
For the moment had come  came the MOMENT and CAME the MEN – the THREE musketeers of the game came in from the TWO teenagers Vijay Amritraj from India Bjorn Borg of Sweden who were then EIGHTEEN and SEVENTEEN years of age and Jimmy Connors of USA who was by then TWENTY years of age.  The  arrival of the “ A ” , “ B ” and the “ C ” of tennis came and it was Vijay Amritraj who came in as a lighting thunder at the Wimbledon in 1973

Between 1973 to 1974 came Brian Gottefried , Bill Scanlon , Raul Ramirez , Vitas Gerulaitis , Roscoe Tanner , Guelerrmo Vilas & , Hose Luis Clerc both from Argentina , Manuel Orantes from Spain and it was all Tennis during that period of time was RULED and CONQUERED by the INFAMOUS trio of the Aussies led by Rod Laver, John Newcombe and Ken Rosewall and supplemented by the presence of a few Americans in which Stan Smith was the most popular one and at times we also had Tom Gorman doing the bits for USA , not to forget that INFAMOUS BLACK- Aurther Ashe who became the FIRST Black to win at the US Open in 1968 and then the Wimbledon in 1975 when he scaled the height of Jimmy Connors at the Wimbledon in 1975.
There was no stopping the FLOOD and the influx were plenty thereafter There and there were the one’s from Europe like Alex Metreveli , Illie Nastase , Jan Kodes from the Czechs Republic , and some more from the other part of the world like Onny Parun of New Nealand , Balackzs Taroczy from Hungary , the Frew Mcmillians and Bob Hewitt from South Africa , Tom Okker from Holland and mostly these were the players who were always cornering the columns of the newspapers during those days
The world of tennis could see the UNDER 21 whom I have mentioned and the over 30’s whom I have mentioned playing and producing the results.
Within TWO years the OVER thirties started giving away playing tennis, and if at all they played they were succumbing to the under-21’s whose names I have written here. The GREATEST example and the slde for the Aussies and the over 30’s started in 1974,  and when Jimmy Connors beat Ken Rosewall in the finals of the Wimbledon in 1974 and again in the finals of the U S Open in 1974 Then the situation became so panic that the over 30’s needed and felt that they needed some FRESH oxygen, and   it was only Arther Ashe in 1975 who could manage a Wimbledon win by beating Jimmy Connors in London and Stan Smith beating Jan Kodes in the finals of the U S Open but no sooner that Bjorn Borg beat Illie Nastase in the final of the Wimbledon in 1976 the OVER 30’s era in tennis was gone and it was NEVER there for anybody to see them THUMPING the THUMBS
THE YOUTH POWER HAD TAKEN OVER
It took ONLY two years from 1973 to 1975 for the YOUTH POWER to take it from the DAD’S ARMY.Tennis was changing and it changed from the ARTISTRY to the POWER PACKED game play and players like Roscoe Tanner, Jimmy Connors, John Mcenroe and finally Boris Becker completely changed it into being a BOOM-BOOM game with BRUTE, PHYSIQUE and POWER- taking the control and the ROTS of everything which could be termed as DESTRUCTABLE-RUTHLESS-POWERFUL tennis.

However from 2006 till now we do not see the YOUTH POWER taking it away from either of the players like Roger Federer , Andy Murray , Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic Youths in numbers and in a HEAP have come and gone but have NOT been able to RATTLE and SHATTER these over 30’s of the Tennis that we see them winning the titles
If that was the that in the Men's section well in the Women'section Chris Evert showed that the era of Margaret Court, Billie Jean King and the likes of them was over when she won the Women's title at the Wimbledon beating Olga Morozova of USSR in straight set.

1974 was the year and the era when the DAD'S and it's Army gave it to the YOUTH and from then we saw all the youngish taking it over in Tennis in both the male and the female section. Jimmy Connors and Chris Evert were the STARTERS then.
WHY IS IT ?????
Are there anything WRONG in the system. Are there anything wrong in their being MOULDED into a potential champion WHAT IS IT that these quartet are the one’s who lay their hands in almost all the trophies of the Grand slam that they play Why is that there is a elemental stale and STAGNATION that has come to “ Heathenish ” Tennis
Tennis is flowing like water Then the question is WHY THE STAGNATION- WHY ?????
THIS IS A SERIOUS AND A MATTER OF A “ GREAT- GRAVIUOS ” CONCERN THAT THE TENNIS WORLD AND THE ONE’S WHO ARE PROMOTING TENNIS OUGHT TO REALISE AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT
