The " TEN-BEST " Footballers Of Brazil Of All The Time , The " ONE-TOOL" To Rule Them All

Head Pics- :  Football Of Brazil, The " ONE-TOOL" To Rule Them All
I would like to FIRST pen a poem in Hindi before I start writing the entire article and finish it off to give it to the people to read it.The POEM stands as under-:
"  YEH RANGEEN FASANA ,KOI MUJHSAY POONCHHEY,
KI TU KITNA PYAARA KITNA HASEEN HAI,
SUNA THAA HASEEN JINPAR KARTAY HAI JAADU,
TUJHAY DEKHKAR " AITBAAR "  AA RAHA HAI  " ..........
Nothing can describe the Brazilian  and their FOOTBALL about whom I'm writing here when I write and similes this poem on their football......
TEN BEST BRAZILIAN FOOTBALLERS OF ALL TIME ::
This again is an article I’m jotting it as per the request that I have received it from many a readers of my page web blog page  BHATTACHARJEE SHYAMAL that resides at US and the Latin American continent..
One of the reason that I tend to write this article is of the fact that  TODAY ie the July 13th IS THE DATE  AND THE YEAR WAS 1930  WHEN THE FIFA WORLD CUP FOOTBALL WAS STARTED AND THE FIRST OF TH SUCH WORLD CUP FOOTBALL WAS HELD AT URUGUAY .Brazil has won this title for the most FIVE times and hence I choose the title ascribed above to make this article a SPECIAL one .
Reason Why I Have Not Placed Leonidas On This List - ::
Everything has a way to start and this article too is NOT any different howver I need the reason to explain a salient point and a vital one as to WHY LEONIDAS DOES NOT FINDS A PLACE IN THIA LIST  . That would be a magnificent way to start.
Truth : Brazil’s Football Is Based On Leonidas Way Of Playing This Game-::
Sincerely it is a TRUTH that Brazil and it’s football have taken the ORIGIN from Leonidas after the World Cup  1938 and Brazil ever since then, has made Leonidas brand as the origin way of playing football and had thereafter shaped it’s game on that principles and formula but the fact that . I’m NOT taking Leonidas even after being such a huge and a monumental figure in Brazil's football is because of the fact that Leonidas played in only ONE WORLD cup in 1938. He would and could have played in more if the World Cup were taken away in 1942 and 1946 but then again that was his luck and the others here have played in atleast TWO World Cup in succession or even three to four. It is only that difference that I do not keep Leonidas here in my LIST but LEONIDAS always will find a place in my LIST as the ELEVENTH member inspite of the fact that his name does not figures here for mention.
I hereby place the following in the ALL-TIME-GREATEST-BRAZILIAN XI and the reasons for me to place them in my list with SHORT and VERY BRIEF description
From 1930 to 2018 last 88 years have passed by and 21 edition of the WORLD CUP has gone by
The TEAM which has won FIVE titles, has remained Runners Up in 1950 , 1998 and had reached the semis in 1930 , 2014 , Brazil has won the FAIR PLAY CUP for as many asd SIX times
Here are the TEN BEST Brazilian soccer player of all the time-::
10. Gérson (1959-1974)
Perhaps not the most glamorous player of the soccer class of 1970, Gérson (1941) was patently one of the most important: he was the link between defence and attack. He is known as and considered to  be the “ BRAIN ” of the Brazilian footballer

Pic - : Gerson
Gérson, nicknamed 'Canhotinha de ouro' (Golden left foot), allowed the soccer stars Pelé, Jairzinho and Rivelino the optimum creative freedom and the maximum space for them to operate the way they would like to operate.. He won two world Cup for Brazil in 1962 and 1970.

U Tube Of Gerson and His Skill as a Footballer
It was HIS game with that GOLDEN GEMS of Brazil which gave Pele, Tostao, Jairzinho the enormous amount of space to do whatever they wanted to do with the ball . The Brazilian of those times always called him a PARROT because he would keep on talking to the others on the field about WHAT to do with the ball .
9. Tostão (1962-1973)
Among the exceptionally skilled, frivolous  and a very accurate player of the passes, soccer players of Brazil's 1970 Dream Team, Tostão (1947) arguably was the understanding and intelligent one. Tostão had the nous to allow the team’s star player Pelé to perform at his best.

The result was that Tostão only scored two goals in the tournament, but set up many more. Also, at Cruzeiro he became the soccer club’s all-time top scorer with 249 goals. Tostao won two World Cup for Brazil in 1962 and 1970.
8. Zico (1971-1994)
If he had won any World Cup title, Zico (1953) probably would have got a higher entry in this chart of best soccer players of Brazil. Zico was the “ sparkling ” focal point of Brasil in the 1978, 1982 and 1986 World Cups, none of which Brasil were able to win despite possessing some of the best players the country has produced. However in all these THREE World Cup Brazil instead of walking away with the Football World Cup Trophy walked away with the BEST “ FAIR PLAY ” Trophy and that was because players like Zico and especially Zico who played that a kind of a very NEAT and magnetic soccer to please the eye of one and sundry.

Pics - : Zico
Zico picked up the South American Footballer of the Year award in 1977, 1981 and 1982 before claiming the World Footballer of the Year award in 1983.

7. Romario (1981-2018)
THE " BEST " OF ALL THE BRAZILIAN FORWARD ESPECIALLY WHEN HE WAS IN THE BOX
SPEED, CUTS, FEINTS, HOLDING THE BALL and CUTTING THROUGH were his FORTE and he was a MASTER of knowing where he would have to be when the Brazilians were on the attack Placing him RIGHT at the APPROPRIATE PLACE to score was something that HE was the MASTER of them all He scored over 1000 goals in football and was the GOLDEN BALL WINNER in 1994.

U Tube ::  The " MESMERISING " Football Skill Of Romario
Romario in Europe when he played was termed and calltermed and named as the s as “ FOX-OF-ALL-THE-FOXES ”  .Romario and his style of playing the game was such that he would keep the ball within his periphery on his leg but his eye would always be on that kind of a little space in terms of the PIN-POINT-DOT space to move up and if he got one he would use that space with such a accuracy that it would be absolutely “ UNBELIEVABLE ” for anybody to believe that a ball could be sluiced between that point dot space to move up and score. when he was in the striking circles with the ball. It was absolutely not possible for anybody to hold him in the box when he was in the position to receive the ball and make his way forward to position himself to score. Romario won ONE World Cup for Brazil in 1994 and was the BEST PLAYER of the World Cup in 1994 winning the GOLDEN BALL and was THRICE names as the BEST FOOTBALLER of the World between the period of 1991 to 1997.

Pic - Romario
Romario is one of the very few who combine the two essential qualities of the ideal soccer player: precision and efficiency.
After a 27-year career, at 46 Romario finally had enough of professional soccer to HANG his boot . He is the SECOND player after Pele to have scored more than 1000 goals in his entire football career. His “ ONE-TOUCH” to meet the ball to place that in to the goal will NEVER be performed by any player at anytime in football and that is for sure.
6. Jairzinho (1959-1982)
After Garrincha and other lieutenants got retired, in 1970 the entire football world was curious who would back up Pelé at the World Cup. Brasil 1970 turned out to be a Dream Team and Jairzinho (1944) was arguably the finest, most electrifying member of that abundantly talented group of soccer players.

Pics - : Jairzinho

U Tube :: The Football Skill Of Jairzinho
Jairzinho scored in each and every match of the World Cup 1970, finishing with seven goals and a reputation as one of the world’s best soccer players. In all he is ONE of the footballer in the World to have scored TEN goals in the World Cup proper. He won the World Cup for Brazil in 1970 .
5. Ronaldo (1993-2011)
A modern age superstar, Ronaldo (1976) was a brilliant Brazilian soccer player. Ronaldo was far and away the world’s best striker from around 1994 until injuries and personal problems began to catch up with him towards the end of his spell with Real Madrid in 2007.

U Tube : The Football Skill Of Ronaldo
With 15 goals, Ronaldo was the all-time top scorer of World Cup soccer tournaments. In 1998 he was the best player, despite Brasil lost the final against host France. In 2002, Ronaldo got his sweet revenge by leading Brasil to its 5th World Cup title in Korea/Japan. Eight of his 15 goals that he had scored in the World Cup proper came in 2002 . As a player he won the World Cup for Brazil in 1994 and again in 2002 remaining as a Runner-Up in 1998.
4. Carlos Alberto (1962-1982)
The “ iconic ” captain of the historic 1970 World Cup team, Carlos Alberto (1944) along with Djalma Santos  is arguably the best Brazilian defender in soccer history. Unfortunately Djalma Santos, like Leonidas,  could not make his way in this present set of ALL-TIME-BEST XI for Brazil but his contribution cannot be taken away  That said, Carlos Alberto has displayed an almost unprecedented ability as a playmaker from full back.

U Tube Of Carlos Alberto
Carlos Alberto was a major catalyst in the evolution of defending, which took place in the 1970s and 1980s as defence in soccer was not any longer just preventing the opponents from scoring a goal, but also the springboard for powerful counter-attacks. The final goal of the 1970 World Cup which he  scored off that so FEARING LIKE-THE-LEOPARD-RUN to blast that one in the Italian goal cannot be forgotten at any moment, and at any time.
Carlos Alberto won the World Cup for Brazil in 1962 and 1970.In 1962 though he was in the squad of 18  he did not play any game on the field for Brazil then, and  1966 he for some reason did not make himself available for Brazil for the World Cup at England but 1970 he was the man who LOFTED it on the podium.
3. Didi (1946-1966)
Didi (1928-2001) was one of the most influential and instinctively creative midfielders in soccer of all time. Besides having a superb positional sense and vision from midfield, Didi was also innovative at set-pieces. Didi is recognised as having pioneered the ' dry leaf ', a sharply bending and dipping free-kick.

Didi played during the 1954, 1958 and 1962 World Cups and he was one of the first Brazilian soccer players to play his trade in Europe (one season at Real Madrid). Didi won the World Cup in 1958 and 1962 for Brazil.
2. Garrincha (1953-1972)
WORLD OF FOOTBALL MAY HAVE MANY A DRIBBLER, BUT NOBODY WOULD COME AND BE LIKE THIS MAN - HE INFACT COULD BE TERMED AS - " DRIBBLER WHOSE DRIBBLING SKILLS WERE AND  WAS  BORN AT THE MOTHER'S TOMMA "

Pics - : The " MAGICIAN "  Garrincha , A " WONDER " of Football
Garrincha (1933-1983) was born with crippled legs and a left leg being distorted even after an operation. Nevertheless, the '’ little bird’’  is known as the greatest dribbler of all time. Garrincha was world champion soccer twice, in 1958 and 1962.

In 1962, when Pelé was out with an injury after the second match, Garrincha had the major role in Brasil's victory march. Being a true soccer legend, Garrincha died at young age; before turning 50 he suffered fatally of alcohol abuse.
1. Pelé (1956-1977)
Pelé (1940) is perhaps not the most original choice as the best Brazilian soccer player of all time, but his record speaks for itself. With Brasil Pelé won three World Cups and also with his club team Santos FC he reigned soccer in the 1960s.

Pics - : Pele
Pelé was fast, strong, a good header, master of dribbling and had a strong and clear shot in the legs. At the end of his career, at New York Cosmos, the immensely popular Pelé turned out a true ambassador of soccer, a role he has since continued and which fits the extravert soccer virtuoso like a glove.

These TEN would make the GREATEST EVER FOOTBALLER THAT BRAZIL HAS PRODUCED OF THE MANY
Once again many " APOLOGIES" for NOT including  Djalma Santos, Vava Bebeto,  and Leonidas in this list .However they are " NOT "  in anyway inferior to any of the players mentioned here.
That is it
