The “ JOKE ” And The “ COMEDY” Of Indian Army :: STRANGE- REALLY BUT TRUE

 INDIA-BANGLADESH - MUKTI VAHINI - INDIAN ARMY :: 1971

AAMEE BHALO- TUMI BHALO

STRANGE- REALLY BUT TRUE

It was the war of 1971 .  The Mukti Vahini was in full swing fighting the Pakistani Army with whatever it had to fight for itself .  Most of the Vahinis then were ladded with sickles to fight the Pakistanis .

The Indian Army joined them during the liberation of Bangladesh .  The Indian Army was acting as a back end support to these Vahinis to fight the war

Many CLAIM so great about the Indian Army for the VICTORY which it definitely was but the FACT is the INDIAN ARMY was acting as an ACCELERATOR or one could terms it as a FACILITATOR and was providing the support from the back end to the Vahinis to fight the war .

Sometimes when the two- the Vahini’s and the officials or the Soldiers of the Indian Army if at all got some respite would talk to each other. They ie the Mukti Vahini  would  talk in Bengali and the Indians in Hindi otherwise in Bengali if some knew how to talk and speak in that language .

The problem was whenever an Indian would speak to an Vahini- and no sooner that the Vahini’s got another one from his/their brethren to add up to the group to talk the Vahinis  in themselves would start talking to each other in Bengali and would speak in an manner as if there was no Indian over there to speak or to listen to . This was something unusual then to the Indian Army then who were the co-partners to the Mukti Vahini to fight the war at Bangledesh.

Later on when it went on and on- the Indian Army would address these kind of mutual talk as the session of-::

AMEE BHALO TUMI BHALO AUR BAAKI KOH GUTTAR MAI DALO

No sooner if the Indian Army who would talk to the Vahinis would see two or more than two Vahinis coming in to join the talks - the Indian Army personnel would say-:

BHAI, O DADA,  AAMEE BHALO TUMEE BHALO AUR BAKKEEYON KOH GUTTER MAI DALO KAA SESSION SHURU HONAY WALA HAI SAAVDHHAN HOH JAO

This JOKE of the Indian Army later went on to become the WORLD FAMOUS JOKE in all the Defense System of the world and the Indian Army thus originated a JOKE in the battle field where amidst the BULLETS the BULLETS of the JOKE kept the mood of the fighters very LIGHT during that time.

Well , that is it

Regards and Thanks
