WHAT IS WORLD AIDS DAY ?
This was another and one of it’s kind before the CORONA-COVID-19
which had hit the WORLD way back in between the period from 1980 to the mid of the nineties. This has gone
off from the memory of the human being but the fact is the disease still exits.
That again was taken care by the WHO and unlike the CORONA where the W.H.O
failed miserably , this disease was well taken care of by the W.H.O. however it
is not fully DEAD in terms of the disease.
A GREAT TENNIS PLAYER AURTHER
ASHE, THE WINNER OF THE U.S.A OPEN IN 1968 AND THE WIMBLEDON CHAMPION IN 1975
WAS A VICTIM OF THIS DISEASE AS HE WAS WRONGLY DIAGNSED ABOUT THIS DISEASE AND
WAS WRONGLY TREATED WHICH COST HIS PRECOUS LIFE.
WORLD
AIDS DAY ::
World AIDS Day is held on the 1st December each year and is an
opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their
support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died.
World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day,
held for the first time in 1988.
Since 1988, the W.H.O and various pharmaceutical organisations,
all over the WORLD have put in their best effort to invent the medicine and the
vaccine to ward pff this disease permanently and after many an experiment they
did find out the medicine or the vaccine which did away from the disease. AID
as a disease and as an epidemic is now no more a concern for anybody. This
disease is esily defeated and though it is well but over, still the disease can
reoccur incase if a HEALTHY and a CLEAN
lifestyle is not followed. One has to lead a CLEAN and a NEAT life without any
prejudiced mind to let him fall for the lust with wrong intimacy, and if that
is well taken care off, one is free from the disease attacking you or
anybody. That is the simple reciepe for
the war to win against this DEADLY disease which the world knows it as “ AIDS ”
WHY
IS WORLD AIDS DAY IMPORTANT ?
Over 100,000
people are living with HIV in the UK. Globally there are an estimated 34 million people who have the
virus. Despite the virus only being identified in 1984, more than 35 million people have died
of HIV or AIDS, making it one of the most destructive pandemics in history.
Today, scientific advances have been made in HIV treatment,
there are laws to protect people living with HIV and we understand so much more
about the condition. Despite this, each year in the UK around 6,000 people are
diagnosed with HIV, people do not know the facts about how to protect
themselves and others, and stigma and discrimination remain a reality for many
people living with the condition. This is just the statistics and the figures
of the UK tat I’m jotting it over here.Imagine the figure that is there to
exist in the entire world.
World AIDS Day is important because it reminds the public and
Government that HIV has not gone away – there is still a vital need to raise
money, increase awareness, fight prejudice and improve education.
WHAT
SHOULD ONE DO ON WORLD AIDS DAY?
Pics :: Ribbon
There is a Management theory which holds IMPORTANCE in the matter of Personnel Management .It says that - " NOBODY IS EXPECTED TO GIVE HIS LIFE FOR YOU, HOWEVER GIVE HIM A PIECE OF RIBBON, AND HE WILL GIVE HIS PART OF A LIFE , A VERY SMALL ONE FOR YOU " .
World AIDS Day is an opportunity to show support to and
solidarity with the millions of people living with HIV. Wearing a red ribbon is
one simple way to do this. Find out where you can get a red ribbon ? .
World AIDS Day is also a great opportunity to raise money for
NAT (National AIDS Trust) and show your support for people living with HIV. If one feel inspired to hold an event, such as a
bake sale, or simply sell red ribbons, visit the fundraising page. A little bit of doing to amass some amount of
fund and to donate it to the fund raising page really helps in ths matter. BUT
WHAT ABOUT AFTER WORLD AIDS DAY?
Although World AIDS Day is a great opportunity to talk about
HIV, it is important to keep the momentum going all year round. Sign up to
NAT's newsletter which will keep you up to date with all the new developments
in HIV and the work of the National AIDS Trust, or visit the website, HIV aware,
for more information.
