The " EXPEDITION" Of Sunil Gavaskar And The " BEHAVIOUR " That One Does It To The " LIME "

There has been many who are barking and spilling  their beans on Sunil Gavaskar, one of the BEST ever opening batsman that was and has been born to the game of cricket and Maradona who recently on November lost his battle against his life that he lived.

I start with Sunil Gavaskar . He has always been in the THICK and the THINS of every storms that Indian cricket has and had to face and throw at him. He has at times  said and spoken his heart in an telling manner and at times he just gave it a DAMN.

The one cricketer who really has been very uncertain for many a pundits of the game to describe him- he always has spoken , at times in QUEST and at times in JEST about the happenings that goes into the game. He always did POKE the BCCI at the appropriate time whenever needed rather than to LCK their SPITS saying that it was as  SWEET and as DELICIOUS as honey and that cost his Captainship once in 1978-79 and the other at 1983. Yet he continues in the same fashion.

Duty To The Nation

Now-a-days the cricketers feel that they are doing a GREAT job and their duty to the nation .

It is all BUMKIM I say. Everything is a DRAMA and everything is for some GIMMICK to garner that attention of the media. One of the fact that recently has cropped up is the manner , the way Virat Kohli has returned from the Australian tour citing his PATERNITY leave or whatever it could be.

Gavaskar has cited the example of Ashwin and some new bowler of Tamil Nadu who either have been blessed to become a Father or who would  become the same within a few days to go.

Correct- it is the duty of the Husband to be aside his wife when such incident occurs and Virat Kohli is right when he did ask the BCCI to grant him the leave to be beside his wife for the same. But the QUESTION IS- WHY DID KOHLI KNOWING FULLY WELL THAT HIS WIFE WOULD DELIVER BETWEEN THE PERIOD OF DECEMBER DID AT ALL TAKE THE RISK AND THE CHANCE TO GO WITH THE TEAM AT AUSTRALIA.

 Is not the team and it’s strength that will suffer because of this. Definitely it will. Will the substitute of Kohli would be so great as to be a sure cool replacement – NO is the answer. If that was, then right from the word GO, Kohli should have NOT assisted the Indian team and ONLY after the delivery , he should have assisted the Indian team by flying to Australia and then assisting the team to settle with it’s flow. That would have been the BEST, but he chose otherwise. This is a wrong step that he has taken.

Gavaskar is correct. If the BCCI can permit Kohli to avail the leave , leaving the team in a FLURY , then why is that Ashwin and that bowler from Tamil Nadu are NOT given that respite . WHY TWO DIFFERENT YARDSTICK AND RULS FOR TWO DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES. The rules and the LAW are same for everybody then why this differentials applied. That is a valid question asked.

Sunil Gavaskar himself had faced this problem in 1976. The Indian team was to undertake a twin tour of New Zealand and West-Indies. Looking at this and his affair where his wife was to deliver during the period of March 1976, Gavaskar  consulted Madam Marshneil , his wife whether and should he skip the tour. The lady asked him to escort the Indian team.  “ I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO COME ALL OF A SUDDEN FROM NEW ZEALAND TO BE BESIDE YOU , HE SAID ” . I would manage the affair INDEPENDENTLY and INDIVIDUALLY the lady replied.  

Gavaskar became a DAD on March 10^th 1976 when the lady delivered a Baby boy then , on that day and Sunil Gavaskar was promoted to being a FATHER then, on that day.  HE SCORED A GRITTY AND A FIGHTING 76 AT WELLINGTON ON THAT DAY ALONG WITH VISHVANATH WHO SCORED A 79 IN THAT ININGS TO SAVE INDIA FROM A  CERTAIN “ 100% ”  DEFEAT FROM AND AGAINST NEW-ZEALAND .

Today I was looking at the tweet on my tweet page “ Newsshakes ”  and everybody were FLAKING and BAKING Gavaskar saying that he as a person just does not understand the value of a husband staying beside his wife for the critical moment .

Hardly the generation of TODAY which BARKS and SHOWS-OFF , more, can ever think and remember that on the day when Gavaskar scored that 76 to save India at New Zealand , doing his DUTY for the COUNTRY and his team, his WIFE, was all ALONE at the hospital at Bombay then FACING the deadliest moment to deliver their only child Rohan Gavaskar who too has played for India.

 GAVASKAR NEED NOT BE  TOLD AND EDUCATED ABOUT THE NATIONAL DUTY .

Those who are siding by Virat Kohli and BARKING at him are WORST than the DOGS- the STRAY one’s without knowing the facts and the sacrifice that he did for his team and for the country on March 10^th 1976 at New Zealand, precisely at Wellington then.

Shyamal- Whay Would Have Happened If Maradona Had Listened To His Mother

Many, many and many from the Latin American countries had read my article on Maradona on my blog page BHATTACHARJEE SHYAMAL Blogger during the month of November. Highly impressed by that, ONE had send me a pictue of Pele crying over Maradona’s EPITAPHIC scribbled stone and had requested me to insert that picture on the article which I did and FE:LT proud of  of doing so.

 Many DO-NOT-KNOW that Maradona’s mummy , ie , his mother was a BRAZILIAN who had married a Paraguayan and had shifted to Paraguay for a short period of time before the entire family shifted to Buenos Aires for his Father who was seeking a greener pasture at Argentina at Buenos Aires. Obviously Maradona has a mixed parentage in that manner and quite an amount Of Brazilian blood in that way.

In my article I had written that he has and had the Brazilian blood . This fact was NOT known to many, many and many across the WORLD.

There was one moment, one point in his life when his maternal Uncle has asked him whether and would he like to play for Brazil and if he did that he would talk to the Santos and the Flumongoes to take a trial of him. Maradona asked his mother as to what should he do and he would do what his mother would ask him to do. That Lady stood MUMM and did not reply and Maradona assuming that his mother wanted him to play for Argentines, said his Uncle, that he would play for Argentina. That and there ended the matter.

A lot of them ever since then kept on and still ask me- WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF MARADONA HAD PLAYED FOR BRAZIL

Well the 1978 JUNIOR WORLD CUP would have been won by Brazil then. It was Maradona who single handedly won that for Argentina in 1978. Then he would have been the member of the Brazilian ALL-TIME-GREAT SIDE of 1982 playing along with OSCAR, SOCRATES, JUNIOR, ZICO and himself in the MID-FIELD section of that Brazilian ALL-TIME-GTREATEST- Football team and WITHOUT DOUBT the GREATEST-EVER-FOOTBALL-TEAM of the World that one saw then.

Definitely Brazil would have won all the FOUR edition of the world Cup from 1982 to 1994, as Brazil, were the winner of the 1994 edition of the World Cup.

It was not and it would NEVER have been any doubt about it. The DOUBT is WHOM WOULD HAVE THE BRAZILIAN COACH DROPPED OF JUNIOR, OSCAR, ZICO, SOCRATES AND MARADONA if Maradona had played for Brazil in the 1982 World Cup.That is a question of CONJECTURE.

Many keep on asking me- HOW WOULD HAVE BRAZIL PLAYED then if Maradona had played for Brazil as he was and he is HALF-A-BRAZILIAN.

Well- the answer is the manner the LIME are SQUEEZED to extract the juice out of them and the manner the LIME-PICKLES are LICKED and then GULPED, the same would have been the manner that Brazil would have done to every team.

What would happen if BRAHMA-VISHNU and MAHESH stand at the same place to expedite their duty.

THAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED TO THE TEAMS OPPOSITE BRAZIL , AND PLAYING AGAINST  BRAZIL IF SOCRATES, ZICO AND MARADONA had played TOGETHER for BRAZIL.

That sums it up and that is all.
