Yesterday I submitted the final AUTHOR EDITING beside the
placement of the EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS that the book carries about Indian Hockey and
the chapters. The entire book would carry about NINE EXCLUSIVE photos that are
related to Indian Hockey, and about 76 other photos that are affixed and
related to the chapters.
Some of the photos are as OLD as 63 years, and some of them
are as old as 86 years. There are some
which were given to me by those GREATS that played Hockey for India and those
are the DIAMONDS of the photos that the book contains, to say and to cite as an
example , the photo of THE FIRST EVER GOLD MEDAL that India had won in Hockey ,
the AUTOGRAPH of the 11 players that played for India to win that OLYMPIC GOLD
at Berlin in 1936.
By the way DID YOU
REALLY KNOW WHAT WAS THE AMOUNT SPENT TO BUILD THAT GERMANY TEAM THAT LOST TO
INDIA IN THE FINALS. IT WAS Rs 60 CRORES THEN IN TERMS OF INDIAN MONEY.
The book would contain about 23 chapters beside the
Forewords written by Ashok Kumar Dhyanchand, Preface written by Inam-Ur-Rehman,
76 photos in all, beside the certificate that I had received from the Hon’ble
President Of Brazil, definitely for some reason, that the book would tell, and
some other old pictures that would regale the readers.
How Is The Book::
Frankly speaking the book is all about the “ HELL ” that differentiates
it from the “ HEAVEN ” that
relates to Indian hockey and it is written in an manner which is PUNGENT and CRUCIFYING . That is all about the book.

Those who fall into the YES
SIR, YES SIR category to earn their living by spitting and talking on
Hockey would not like it all as I
HAVE NOT SPARED ANY.
It took me 47 years from 1975 to complete the entire
research, to get some of the pictures from the archives of those whose job is
to maintain the photographs, to collect many an information about the players
that played Hockey for India and certain photographs that are from the era of
the 1928 to 1936 that are related to add to the dimension and the righteous of Indian Hockey. To
cite an example the HEADLINES
of TIMES OF INDIA asserting
the fact that Captain Roop Singh had
scored “ TWELVE ” goals and NOT “ TEN ” as the Wikipedia says, against the
U.S.A team which had lost to india by 24-1 at the Los Angeles Olympics.
The last part of texting the book, and the final print out,
as the job remains. It is just like the icing on the cake that ought to be
done. I hope it hits the market within a week.
I can assure ONE
and SUNDRY that THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST BOOK WRITTEN IN
HOCKEY BY ANY INDIAN that describes the BIRTH , GROWTH , RISE
and DEATH of Indian Hockey.
As usual from tomorrow I shall start focusing on the other
job especially the blog part of the same.
This would be my “
SIXTH ” book written/authored by me but still so far THE BEST AMONGST THE ENTIRE LOTS THAT I
HAVE WRITTEN SO FAR.
Now I will be able to denote and devote much of my time to
my blog page. The SPACE CAPTURED will have to be completed in terms of first
completing those article and then it would be to also write about the new
blogs.
YES- maybe at times to finish the last act, ie , to wrap up the last and the final part where it could be that some times might be required for the final editing which might consume some days, apart from that the entire book till this stage is completed.
I might miss out writing the blogs fpor the reason advocated above, however the writng would continue in series.
Next Venture::
From now onwards I would concentrate writing on the INDIAN
GDP and the elements that goes with it and is associated with it. Once this is
done I would assemble every chapters written and placed on the Blog page to
convert it into a book and perhaps that would be my FIRST book on Indian
economy though I have already finished writing a book on Managerial Economics,
but could not get it published because I have no money at present to do it.
This book on Hockey would cut the size of my pocket by Rs 20,000=00 at the most.
THIS BOOK IS MY
GIFT TO MOTHER INDIA ON HER “ AMRIT MAHAUTSAVA VARSH ” ,
which Mr Narendra Modi calls it by " AZADI KAY AMRIT MAHAUTSAVA "
The Blog Article titled as under-::
Olympics and the saga of the miss of medals by India
That is it
